2015 BCA Board of Directors Candidates – The following residents are candidates for the 2015 BCA Board of Directors Election: Shyam Bommakanti, Avinash R. Kota, Joe Parker, Ram Venkat and Brian Viola.  Information on each of the candidates and the election is forthcoming. The Association’s documents require a 10% quorum, so please plan to do your part as a resident and vote in this year’s election. 

Development Activity Update – Brambleton’s developer continues to perform bond release in the sections noted below. Work may include asphalt repair; concrete marking, break and repair; marking, or digging and installation of street lights. Work typically begins in the early morning and is complete by the early afternoon. See the site map for the location of each section. In addition to the ongoing work on Northstar Blvd. and development in the community, for the week of 10/12/15, bond release activity is planned in the following sections:

  • Section 21
  • Section 15
  • Overlook

Our office works closely with the Developer’s office to include information in the Friday Flash; however, with the unpredictable pace of these activities, it is not always possible.  We do serve as the liaison to the Developer’s office, so if you have questions, contact us via email or submit a request on our website. 


See You Tomorrow at Fall Fest! – Tomorrow, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  Join us at the Town Center for Brambleton's largest event of the year! There's sure to be something for everyone, including rides, moon bounces, train rides, a hay maze, food vendors, beer, wine, cornhole challenge, live music, and more!  We hope to see you there!  For more information, visit our website.

Attending the 2015 LoCo Brewfest?  Let Us Give You a Ride! – We will offer free round-trip transportation on the Brambleton Bus for those Brambleton residents attending the 2015 LoCo Brewfest on October 24th at Lost Rhino Brewing Company. The bus will depart from Lost Rhino Retreat every hour on the half-hour from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please note that this does not include your event ticket; we are offering transportation only.  To purchase your Brewfest ticket, visit

Fall Yard Sale – Saturday, November 7th, at 8:00 AM.  Reserve your space at the Community Center parking lot, or if you'd prefer to sell from your house, add your name and address to the yard sale neighborhood directory.  Sign up today! 


Rock Ridge High School to Host First Annual Band Day Competition – October 10th.  Rock Ridge will welcome 10 bands, including Broad Run, Park View, and Loudoun Valley, to compete in four classes.   Please join us for an evening of music and entertainment starting at 6:00 PM, with awards at 9:40 PM. Tickets are $6 at the gate. There will be concessions, air grams, and a 50/50 raffle.  We hope you can join us and support the RRHS Band!

Stone Hill Middle School Pumpkin Decorating Fall Festival – October 23rd, 4:30 PM. Do you carve or decorate pumpkins for Halloween?  Then come to the first ever Pumpkin Decorating Fall Festival at Stone Hill Middle School and help us raise money for our first SHM Trunk or Treat. Even if you can't attend the event, buy a pumpkin from us, and the proceeds will go to the school of your choice!  Don't forget to pre-order your pumpkin for a discount. Thanksgiving Food Drive – Thanksgiving will be here before you know it.  The Loudoun Soccer 2001 Boys Red Team is thankful for all that they have and want to give back to the greater Loudoun community.  The Team, on behalf of Loudoun Interfaith Relief Inc, will conduct a Thanksgiving Food Drive through Monday, November 2nd.   Please consider filling a grocery bag with stuffing, boxed potatoes, canned goods, gravy, cranberry sauce, and a grocery store gift card and dropping that bag off at the Brambleton Welcome Center or BCA Management office at the Brambleton Town Center.  All donated goods will be collected by the Team and delivered to Loudoun Interfaith Relief in time to be distributed for Thanksgiving.

Foreign Exchange Student Seeking Host Family - A temporary Welcome Family generously offered to host a student for a short time to guarantee her a space at Briar Woods HS.  This commitment is coming to an end. In order for this student to stay at her school, a host family within BWHS boundary needs to be found in the next week.  If you are interested, please contact Katherine McCorry, PAX Community Coordinator, at 703-201-9706 or for additional information.


Compost Bins – Adrian Higgins with Loudoun County Master Gardeners recommends: The trimmings from end-of-season perennials and vegetables along with the impending leaf drop provide the perfect ingredients for composting. Within Brambleton, residents are encouraged to compost.  Additional information on the Design Guidelines for Compost Bins can be found on our website.

Application Submission – There are several ways you may submit design review applications to the Association. Applications can be mailed, dropped in the black drop box to the right of our door, hand-delivered to the office, or emailed to When staff reviews the application for accuracy, they may reach out to applicants for clarity or additional information. When providing any additional information via email, please use your property address in the subject line. There is a high volume of applications for modifications reviewed every month. Lot numbers, modification description, or even homeowner name in the subject line make it very difficult to match and add additional information to received applications. Design Review – The next meeting for Design Review will be Monday, November 9, 2015 at 7:00 PM.  Applications will be reviewed for accuracy if submitted by November 4, 2015. Only Days Left to Guarantee Your Lace Up for Learning Race Shirt – Be sure to register ASAP for the 3rd Annual Lace Up for Learning 5k & Mascot Mini Mile on Saturday, November 14th! Only those registered by October 15th will get a race shirt. This family-oriented "fun-racing" event is designed to encourage a healthy lifestyle and engage local communities in support of our participating schools: Briar Woods, Creighton's Corner, Legacy, Moorefield Station, Rock Ridge, Stone Hill, St. Theresa and Virginia Academy. DMV2GO is Coming to Brambleton – October 16th, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.  Need to renew your license or registration?  New to the area and need to change your address? Skip the lines and bad lighting and visit their mobile unit in the Town Center parking lot, in front of Harris Teeter.  If you can't make it on the 16th, DMV's mobile unit will be at the Dulles South Public Safety Center on October 15th from 9:00 AM - 4:00PM.

Arcola Volunteer Fire Department Open House – October 25th, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. October is Fire Prevention Month in Loudoun County, and the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department is opening its doors.  Bring the kids for an afternoon of station tours, safety demos, pumpkin painting, and a visit by Smokey the Bear.  For more information, visit

LCSO to Hold Technology Safety and Drug Awareness Classes for Parents – The LCSO, in partnership with Loudoun County Public Schools and DEA, will begin a series of courses on Technology Safety and Drug Awareness at area schools.  The two part courses will help introduce parents to basic Internet safety and the dangers of drug abuse. Please be advised that these are PARENT ONLY CLASSES due to GRAPHIC CONTENT.
