Brambleton Update

BCA Committee Members and Volunteers Needed

Brambleton Community Association relies on its committee members and volunteers to achieve its goals of creating a community and lifestyles desired by its residents in an open and transparent manner. Resident input and involvement are essential to the health and success of our great community. Consider getting involved in one of the following ways:

Elections Committee: The Association is In search of two residents willing to serve from August to November to review election guidelines and oversee the election process though and up to the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, November 12th. This committee will have 3-4 meetings, and attendance at the Annual Meeting is necessary.

Community Technology Committee: This is a new and standing committee. The BCA Board is looking for 5-7 residents to serve on this committee. The committee will focus on small cell antennas within the community, services and concerns related to the Verizon Fios agreement and the future of bulk video services in the community, and other community technology-related services. This committee will meet every other month or more frequently if necessary.

Finance Committee: This committee is looking for 2-3 new members who are interested in the Association’s finances, budgets, insurance, and investments. A background in finance or accounting is not required. This committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM.

Safety & Security Committee: This committee is in need of 2-3 members interested in discussing and addressing community safety & security-related issues. This committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.

Event Volunteers: Our community is always in need of volunteers for all our events. Volunteering at an event can consist of anything from set-up/breakdown, admissions, working the beer taps, or performing other essential functions that are necessary for the success for our Lifestyles program. Visit our volunteering page for more information.

BCA Board of Directors: The Association will need to fill three director positions this fall. Characteristics of a good director include an owner who cares about building a greater sense of community, someone who has knowledge of HOAs through experience on a committee or another association board, and someone who is committed to giving their time to keep our great community thriving. The Board meets on the first Tuesday of nearly every month at 8:15 PM with a few months off during the year. Please contact Rick Stone directly at if you are considering running for a position on the BCA Board.
