BCA SPOTLIGHT

Teen Late Night Swim - Rising 6th-12th graders are invited to our Teen Late Night Swim at Beacon Crest Pool tonight, June 28th from 8 to 10 PM! Bram Life Passes (pool passes) are required, and guest passes are allowed for up to four guests per household. More information can be found here.

Red White & BRAM - Join us for a community festival at our new location on Saturday, June 29th from 6 to 10 PM with live music, games, food trucks, beer, wine, and FIREWORKS!!! This year’s festival will be located off of Shreveport Dr near the Brambleton Barn. Click here for a map and more information. Check out our video as well!

  • Tickets will be sold at the gate. Ticket cost is $5 per person with a Bram Life Pass (pool pass) and $10 per person without a pass.


INSIDE BCA

Brambleton Bettas Swim Meet - The Brambleton Bettas will hold a swim meet on Saturday, June 29th at the Community Center Pool. The pool will open after the meet. The anticipated opening time is 1 PM.

World of Food Trucks - EatLoco's World of Food Trucks is back in Brambleton this summer! Come out to Legacy Park and Olympia Dr to find a variety of local food trucks and relax with family and friends. The next event takes place on Thursday, July 4th from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. Bram Bus: Upcoming Trips Hop on the Bram Bus for upcoming trips to your favorite events! Visit our Bram Bus page for more details and to purchase bus tickets.
  • We’ve added a trip to see Zac Brown Band at Jiffy Lube Live on Sunday, August 25th! Cost is $30 per person (transportation only).
  • Thursday, July 4th is the last day to purchase tickets to see Dear Evan Hansen on Sunday, August 18th at the Kennedy Center! We are selling event tickets and bus seats as a package for this trip. There are only three seats left, so get your tickets today!
  • Seats are also still available for Kidz Bop at Jiffy Lube Live on Sunday, July 14th (transportation only)! The deadline for purchasing seats is Monday, July 8th.
Summer Concert Series - Our 2019 Summer Concert Series continues with The Reflex on Thursday, July 11th from 7:30 to 9:30 PM! This free event is located on the western end of Legacy Park. Gates open at 6 PM, and kid-friendly band Donut Lions will perform from 6:30 to 7:15 PM. Visit our website for a full summer concert schedule and more information.

Safe Sitter Course - We still have open spots in our Safe Sitter course taking place on Saturday, July 20th from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. Courses are sponsored by Beat4LifeCPR and take place at the Community Center. More information can be found here. Brambleton residents only. RSVP at programs@brambleton.org today!


COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Proper Storage of Play Equipment - BCA would like to share a friendly reminder that portable play equipment that is easily transportable by one person, such as soccer nets, bikes, or scooters, must be stored out of view of neighboring properties when not in use. Additional guidelines for play equipment can be found here. Property Maintenance Standards - Turf areas on a lot must be kept neatly mowed, trimmed, and edged to a consistent height. Turf is not to exceed 6 inches in height at any time. Grills - Summer is a great time for friends and family to enjoy cookouts and celebrations! Just remember to stow away your portable grill after each use; grills may not be stored in the front or side of the home. 


DEVELOPER NEWS

Northstar Blvd Paving - Contractors will be milling and paving asphalt on Northstar Blvd between Ryan Rd and Belmont Ridge Rd over the next month. Traffic will be temporarily impacted during this work.

Good Dog Rocky: Grand Opening Celebration - Save the date for Good Dog Rocky’s Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, July 13th from 12 to 4 PM. This pet-friendly afternoon of fun will include pet activities, treats, and a bike giveaway! Stay tuned for more details.

Dulles South Food Pantry: Brambleton Food Drive - Dulles South Food Pantry is holding a food drive in the Brambleton Welcome Center until today, June 28th. Residents are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food donations, including rice bags, canned goods, and breakfast cereal. Care Packages for the Troops - Join Brambleton Presbyterian Church’s Kids Connection (Pre-K through 5th Grade) on Wednesday, July 10th from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Brambleton Library in Meeting Room A to assemble care packages for our troops. Click here for more information.

COUNTY CORNER


Groundbreaking for Hanson Regional Park - Loudoun County invites members of the public to attend the groundbreaking for the Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park on Saturday, June 29th at 11 AM at the park site on Evergreen Mills Rd. Features of the 257-acre park will include athletic fields, ponds, an event lodge and nature center, and more. The project is expected to be completed in Spring 2022. Click here for more information.
