Blocking Fire Lanes is Illegal - Parking in a yellow fire lane is illegal, yet many residents ignore this fact. If the space outside of a residence is designated as a fire lane, then it is not to be used as a loading zone, a parking space, or a place to wait for passengers. The fire lane is an area reserved for firefighters and emergency personnel to stage fire apparatus or park vehicles at a useful distance from a structure. BCA is monitoring this concern and follows the Vehicle Policy for all private streets. BCA will also report observations to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office for further enforcement if needed; observations can be directed to email@example.com. As illegal parking frequently happens after business hours, we recommend contacting the LCSO non-emergency number at 703-777-1021 to report concerns in real time.
Comprehensive Lot Inspections - Community Standards Advisors will be conducting comprehensive inspections in Section 8 beginning Monday, September 24th, with ongoing comprehensive inspections continuing in Sections 12 and Brandt. Included in these inspections is confirmation that proper documentation for all modifications is on file with the Association. All inspections are performed by BCA staff. Staff does not enter fenced yards or access decks during these inspections. In accordance with the Association’s enforcement policies, notice will be sent to provide time to correct items noted to be in violation of Brambleton’s governing documents or policies. If you have any questions, please call 703-542-6263 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Proper Storage of Waste Containers - Trash is collected on Tuesdays (yard waste pickup also occurs on Tuesdays from March - December). Trash, recycling, and scheduled bulk pickups are performed on Fridays. Bulk pickups can be arranged with Republic Services at email@example.com; some items will incur an additional charge. Trash containers and recycling bins are to be put out no earlier than 6 PM on the evening before the scheduled pickup day. Containers and bins should be removed from the streets, walkways, or exterior portions of the lots following pickup on scheduled service days. Containers and bins are not permitted to be stored in a location visible from a neighboring property. Additional information can be found on our website under Article 8 of the Declaration, Section 8.2 Restrictions on Use (i). Please contact Community Standards with any additional questions at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703-542-6263.
