A Message from the General Manager: Independence Day
It was great to see everyone out at Red, White & Bram this past weekend kicking off Independence Day a little early. Saturday’s festival was a hot one, but it was still a fun environment to connect with neighbors, friends, and family. I would like to thank all of the volunteers and staff who spent their Saturday helping with this event. Without the efforts and dedication of these people, Brambleton Lifestyles would not be what they are today.
I’d like to take this opportunity to address the laser light show as many of you have voiced your disappointment. I also agree that this was not what we had expected, and we were hoping for a much better laser show. We sincerely apologize for missing the mark on this one.
With the construction of the new neighborhoods near the town center, we have been looking for alternative venues in and around our community for future fireworks displays. We will continue to have discussions with NOVA Parks, Loudoun County, and others to find a location where this may occur in the future. We’d love to hear from you if you have any great ideas or suggestions.
In the meantime, there are several displays occurring in our region. Good information about fireworks safety and local shows can be found at www.Loudoun.gov/fireworks.
On behalf of BCA’s Board and staff, we wish you a happy and safe Independence Day. It’s going to be a hot day; be sure to stay hydrated while spending time outside with neighbors, family, and friends.
