AROUND BRAMBLETON

INSIDE BCA

BCA Bus Tour - Join us on Saturday, June 16th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM for a guided bus tour of everything that Brambleton has to offer! Learn about the history, services, and activities of Brambleton as we traverse the community. A maximum of 24 people can participate in this tour. Click here to sign up.

Brambleton Pools - School is out and summer is here at Brambleton's pools! Find all of the pool information you need, including pool hours and pool pass registration details, at www.brambletonhoa.com/pools. You can also subscribe to the “Pools” list on our Notify Me page for notifications on unplanned pool closures lasting longer than 1 hour. If you have pool-related questions, please contact hoa@brambleton.org or 703-542-6263.

Pool Access - Residents are reminded that they need to show a current Brambleton Pool Pass to gain access to all BCA pools. In the rare occurrence that a pass is forgotten, lifeguards can look up individuals in the BCA system. However, this should not become standard practice as it slows down the check-in process. Individuals without passes who are also not in the system will be denied access to the pools, or they will be required to use the guest pass of an accompanying resident.

VDOT Street Maintenance - VDOT is actively filling cracks on Brambleton streets in preparation for the future application of slurry seal. Specific dates are not available at this time, but “No Parking” signs with precise dates will be posted at least three business days prior to work starting. Work will take place in the Legacy neighborhoods around the Community Center and “Acorn” Park. Click here for more information from VDOT, including a map of Brambleton streets affected by this work.

DEVELOPER NEWS

Paving Notice: Stratford Landing Drive - The Developer is taking interim actions to pave Stratford Landing Dr with a “scratch” coat of asphalt. Paving will occur on Monday, June 18th. This layer of asphalt is not the final layer, but it will provide needed relief to drivers from the raised manholes and dips in the street caused by numerous utility cuts during initial construction. The developer will continue to work with the utility company on the installation of streetlights. Once all streetlights have been installed, the “final” coat of asphalt will be applied.

Paving Notice: Marietta ParkwayThe Developer plans to finish paving Marietta Pkwy on Tuesday, June 19th.

Bond Release Activity - Bond release work is currently being performed in Section 27. This section is experiencing concrete break and replacement work; this may impact ingress and egress of driveways. Residents will be notified by the developers contractor if they are affected by this work.

New Construction Activity in Birchwood
 - Clearing activity is underway and will continue for approximately the next two months. Once this phase is complete, blasting operations will begin. Prior to blasting work, pre-blasting survey opportunity notices will be provided as required by the county.
