ALL THINGS RED, WHITE & BRAM!  - June 24th, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM.  It's finally here! Tailgating, rides and games, food trucks, live music, and the best FIREWORKS show in the area!  Here's what you need to know:

  • The event will be located behind the Town Center in the parking lots facing Northstar Blvd (i.e., same place as last year!).  Click here to see event map. 
  • Both parking garages will be open.  Parking entrances are limited to Soave Dr. and Regal Wood Dr.  The back entrance to the parking lots will be closed off.
  • Gates open at 5:30 PM.  Those who do not have a reserved tailgate spot are still welcome to find an open space to set up a tent (all tents must be secured.).  However, all non-registered tailgaters will be asked to take their tents down at 9:00 PM to open the view for the fireworks.  Same rules apply to all tailgaters.
  • Admission is $5/person and includes rides, games, live music, and other fun activities.  Children 2 and under get in free.
  • Food, beer, and wine vendors will be on site.
  • Fireworks start at approximately 9:30 PM and will be launched from the area behind OneLife Fitness.

Trees in Legacy Park - Removal of dead trees impacted by the Emerald Ash Borer is scheduled to begin next week.  Work will start in Legacy Park with the removal of more than 100 dead trees.  Once Legacy Park is completed, work will shift to the northern sections of the community and proceed south towards Creighton Road.  The work may take up to 10 days.

Trash Service on July 4th - Trash collection service will not be impacted by the holiday. Containers should be placed curbside by 6:00 AM.


Construction Activity Ongoing – Blasting will take place next week south of the Town Center.  Blasts are typically preceded by a series of short warning sounds, and steps will be taken to reduce any negative impact on residents. Brambleton’s Developer Continues to Perform Bond Release Activity Throughout the Community - Work typically begins in the early morning and is complete by the early afternoon.  In addition to the ongoing development in the community, for the week of 6/26/17, bond release activity may occur in the following sections (see site map for locations):

Teen Late Night Swim - Tonight, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM at Beacon Crest Pool.  Rising 6th - 12th graders are invited to enjoy the pool all to themselves.  Don't forget your pool pass! More info here.

BCA’s Property Maintenance Standards – Turf areas and mulched landscape beds are to be kept as weed free as reasonable. At no time shall weed cover exceed more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the total turf area or 10% of mulched areas. For details see this page on the BCA website. Public Comment Sought on Route 15 Congestion Relief - Loudoun County is seeking public input on alternatives that have been proposed to relieve congestion on Route 15 north of Leesburg.  Click here for more info.

Envision Loudoun Online Engagement Now Open - Loudoun County is encouraging anyone who was unable to attend one of the recent “Envision the Future” workshops to participate through an online engagement tool through July 12th.
