Save the Date: Annual Meeting - November 15th, 7:00 PM at Brambleton Corner Clubhouse. Owners received an email on Monday regarding the BCA Board of Directors Online Election. Owners may click here to register to vote. Online voting is the preferred and recommended method; however, owners may also vote by proxy, or in person at the Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting Notice, which includes a proxy form as well as the 2017 Assessments and Budget Summary, was mailed to owners on October 26th. Meet the BCA Board of Directors Candidates - November 2nd, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM at Brambleton Corner Clubhouse. This will be an open house style event; residents are welcome to stop in at any time. The three candidates running for the one open Board seat, James Burgess, Vincent Chiusano, and Tom Gurganous, will be available to meet with residents. Candidate profiles can be viewed here. Staff will be available to answer any questions.

Development Activity Update
Construction Activity in the Town Center Ongoing – Land development and construction activity will continue in the Town Center and the areas south to Creighton Road. Please use caution and do not enter into construction areas. There will be periods of blasting that will allow for installation of underground utilities. Steps are being taken to reduce any negative impact on residents. Please click here for more information. We appreciate your patience as the Town Center enters into its final stages of completion.
Brambleton’s Developer Continues to Perform Bond Release Activity Throughout the Community - Unless otherwise specified, work may include asphalt repair, concrete marking, break and repair; marking, or digging and installation of street lights. Work typically begins in the early morning and is complete by the early afternoon. In addition to the ongoing development in the community, for the week of 10/31/16, bond release activity may occur in the following sections (see site map for locations):

Card Collection for Military - November 1st - 27th. For the second year, we're collecting blank, stamped cards for the brave men and women serving our armed forces. These blank cards will be donated to several military facilities and hospitals to make it a little easier for our soldiers and veterans to send their holiday wishes to their loved ones. Cards can be dropped in the red mailbox in the lobby of the Welcome Center. Click here for more information and guidelines.

Save the Date: Briar Woods HS Drama Production of Radium Girls - “In 1926, radium was a miracle cure, and luminous watches the latest rage—until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court”. Briar Woods Marching Band Redskins Raffle - Support the band as they raise funds to represent Virginia at the commemoration events of the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Buy your raffle tickets in front of Fox Theater today from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Sunday from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10 each. Prizes include Redskins game tickets with parking passes, signed jerseys, and more! Drawing will be held on Monday, October 31st, and you need not be present to win. Comprehensive Lot Inspections continue in Section 14 - The Covenants Advisors continue conducting inspections in Section 14. This section includes single family units on: Pecos Lane, Hollister Pl., Frontier, Minerva, Oglethorpe, Conquest Cir., Klondike Ct., Charmay Pond, Woolsey, Good Hope, Explorer, Ringtail, Ducato, Rushmore, Meriweather, Red Admiral, Deleon, Kleinsmith, Emperor, Stockham, Vanguard and Ingersoll.
In an effort to maintain Brambleton as one of the most architecturally pleasing and best maintained communities in the area, comprehensive exterior inspections of homes and lots are ongoing throughout the year. These inspections are done by section and note all exterior modifications on residential lots. Included as part of the comprehensive inspections is confirmation that proper documentation, such as an approved application, is on file with the Association. All inspections are performed by members of BCA staff. Staff does not enter fenced yards or access decks during these inspections. In accordance with the Association’s enforcement policies, notice will be sent to provide time to correct items noted to be in violation of Brambleton’s governing documents or policies.
