Save the Date: Annual Meeting - November 15th, 7:00 PM at Brambleton Corner Clubhouse.  Owners received an email on Monday regarding the BCA Board of Directors Online Election.  Owners may click here to register to vote.  Online voting is the preferred and recommended method; however, owners may also vote by proxy, or in person at the Annual Meeting.  The Annual Meeting Notice, which includes a proxy form as well as the 2017 Assessments and Budget Summary, was mailed to owners on October 26th. Meet the BCA Board of Directors Candidates - November 2nd, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM at Brambleton Corner Clubhouse.  This will be an open house style event; residents are welcome to stop in at any time.  The three candidates running for the one open Board seat, James Burgess, Vincent Chiusano, and Tom Gurganous, will be available to meet with residents.  Candidate profiles can be viewed here.  Staff will be available to answer any questions.

Development Activity Update 

Construction Activity in the Town Center Ongoing – Land development and construction activity will continue in the Town Center and the areas south to Creighton Road.  Please use caution and do not enter into construction areas.  There will be periods of blasting that will allow for installation of underground utilities.  Steps are being taken to reduce any negative impact on residents.  Please click here for more information.  We appreciate your patience as the Town Center enters into its final stages of completion. 

Brambleton’s Developer Continues to Perform Bond Release Activity Throughout the Community - Unless otherwise specified, work may include asphalt repair, concrete marking, break and repair; marking, or digging and installation of street lights. Work typically begins in the early morning and is complete by the early afternoon. In addition to the ongoing development in the community, for the week of 10/31/16, bond release activity may occur in the following sections (see site map for locations):

  • Section 18
  • Section 27 


Menu Set for Wine 101: Pairing Food & Wine - November 5th, 7:00 PM at the Community Center.  In the fourth installment of this popular series, we'll try some tasty bites (lamb, oysters, and risotto, anyone?) and delicious vino as we discover for ourselves what makes some foods and wines pair together so well. Seats are very limited, so check out the menu and sign up now!  Must be 21 or over to attend.

Pictures With Santa - November 11th, 12th & 13th at the Community Center.  Make sure your little ones get their special moment with the big guy.  Get more information and sign up here.  This event sells out SO fast!  Don't be left out.  

The Bram Bus is Going Places This Fall - Check out fun stuff to do close to home, and let us do the driving.  Here's what's coming up.
  • Fall Wine Tour - November 5th, 12:00 PM - 6:00 pm. Riders will visit three local wineries and enjoy lunch at the first stop.  View itinerary here.  $20/person.  Cost includes transportation only.  Each person is responsible for the cost of his/her food and beverages.

Card Collection for Military - November 1st - 27th.  For the second year, we're collecting blank, stamped cards for the brave men and women serving our armed forces.  These blank cards will be donated to several military facilities and hospitals to make it a little easier for our soldiers and veterans to send their holiday wishes to their loved ones. Cards can be dropped in the red mailbox in the lobby of the Welcome Center.  Click here for more information and guidelines.

Save the Date:  Kids Craft Day - December 4th, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.  BCA and Brambleton Kids Care invite you to join us in making no-sew blankets to be donated to INOVA Children's Hospital.  $20 for the first blanket kit, $15 for each additional kit.  Sign up here!


Save the Date: Briar Woods HS Drama Production of Radium Girls - “In 1926, radium was a miracle cure, and luminous watches the latest rage—until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court”. Performance dates are November 3rd, 4th and 5th at 7:30 PM, and November 6th at 2:00 PM at BWHS Auditorium. Tickets $10 at the door.  For more information email

Briar Woods Marching Band Redskins Raffle - Support the band as they raise funds to represent Virginia at the commemoration events of the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Buy your raffle tickets in front of Fox Theater today from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Sunday from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.  Tickets are $10 each.  Prizes include Redskins game tickets with parking passes, signed jerseys, and more!  Drawing will be held on Monday, October 31st, and you need not be present to win.  Email Tom Kirchner at for more information.


Comprehensive Lot Inspections continue in Section 14 - The Covenants Advisors continue conducting inspections in Section 14. This section includes single family units on:  Pecos Lane, Hollister Pl., Frontier, Minerva, Oglethorpe, Conquest Cir., Klondike Ct., Charmay Pond, Woolsey, Good Hope, Explorer, Ringtail, Ducato, Rushmore, Meriweather, Red Admiral, Deleon, Kleinsmith, Emperor, Stockham, Vanguard and Ingersoll.

In an effort to maintain Brambleton as one of the most architecturally pleasing and best maintained communities in the area, comprehensive exterior inspections of homes and lots are ongoing throughout the year. These inspections are done by section and note all exterior modifications on residential lots. Included as part of the comprehensive inspections is confirmation that proper documentation, such as an approved application, is on file with the Association. All inspections are performed by members of BCA staff. Staff does not enter fenced yards or access decks during these inspections.  In accordance with the Association’s enforcement policies, notice will be sent to provide time to correct items noted to be in violation of Brambleton’s governing documents or policies.  Please contact the Covenants Advisors at 703-542-6263 or with any questions or to report a concern.

Design Review Meeting Scheduled for November 14, 2016

  • Applications may be submitted up to 5:00 PM on November 14, 2016 in the office or in the drop box outside the office door before 9:00 AM November 14th or
  • Via email to up to 5:00 PM November 14, 2016 (please include your property address in the subject line) or
  • You can bring it to the meeting beginning at 7:00 PM.

Brambleton Town Center Trick-or-Treating - The Brambleton Town Center will host free trick-or-treating on Sunday, October 30th from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, rain or shine. This year’s event will be better than ever with giveaways, a hayride, balloon artist, face painter, and, of course, Halloween candy!  Come early, as supplies of treats and candy are limited. Please note that this event is on Sunday, not on Saturday as was initially advertised.
