BCA Pools: Phase Three Update - All BCA pools are open for recreational swimming at 50% capacity from 10 AM to 8 PM daily. Reservations are no longer required. Guests are still not permitted during Phase Three. In addition, hourly pool breaks lasting 15 minutes have been implemented. Late Fee Waiver & Delayed Assessment Payment Reminder - The BCA Board has approved the waiver of July 2020 late fees for single-family attached and detached homeowners whose income has been impacted by COVID-19. Also, for homeowners who have requested to delay payment of their April through July assessments, payment of missed assessment(s) is due on August 1, 2020. Titan Pool Service Now Hiring - Titan Pool Service is currently hiring for all positions at Brambleton pools. Lifeguarding applicants will need to be or become lifeguard certified; training is available. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age. Residents are reminded that per Brambleton’s Declaration, exclusive use of common areas is not permitted. Examples include:
- Changes to common areas without prior written approval from the Association.
- Storage of personal items or equipment in common areas, including items like woodpiles, play equipment, and sheds.
- Mulching, installing plant material, and cutting naturalized areas.
- Dumping or placing materials such as leaves, grass clippings, or construction materials.
To remedy encroachments on common areas, BCA will take appropriate enforcement action. This may include assessments for the cost of removal or restoration, additional charges, or other sanctions permitted by the Association's governing documents or law. Schedules and guidelines for trash, recycling, and yard waste collection in Brambleton can be found on our website
. Bulk pickups can be scheduled by appointment only by contacting email@example.com
. Trash containers and recycling bins can be placed curbside no earlier than 6 PM on the evening before the scheduled pickup day. All containers and bins should be removed from the streets, walkways, or exterior portions of the lots following pickup on the same day
of service. Containers and bins must be stored in a location out of view of neighboring properties. Please contact the Community Standards department
with any questions.Landscape Bed Maintenance -
Turf areas and mulched landscape beds are to be kept as weed-free as reasonable. At no time shall weed cover exceed more than 25% of the total turf area or 10% of mulched areas. Mulching landscape beds is one of the best ways to prevent weeds from growing out of control. A major summer-annual grass in landscape beds is large crabgrass; smooth crabgrass is primarily a turf weed. More information and tips on how to best handle this common problem can be found here
