Brambleton Vandalism Incidents: LCSO & FMO Seek Information
Brambleton Community Association has seen an increase in vandalism, graffiti, arson, and destruction of its facilities, amenities, and common areas over the past couple of weeks. Pools have been broken into, graffiti has been painted on tunnels and other amenities, and fires have been ignited on play equipment, signs, and in common areas. The volume of incidents that has occurred over the past two weeks is unusual for our community.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and Loudoun County Fire Marshal’s Office (FMO) are currently investigating these incidents. We need your help to perform and conclude these investigations. If you have any information regarding these incidents, please contact the following investigators:
Graffiti Incidents: LCSO Deputy K. Smith – 703-777-1021 (ext. 3132)
Arson Incidents: FMO Investigator Michael Kenyon – 703-737-8600
In addition to the investigations being conducted by Loudoun County officials, the following actions are also being taken:
See Something, Say Something:
- Additional patrols of pools, parks, and trails will be conducted by LCSO and BCA.
- Camera systems at all pools are operational and are inspected weekly.
- Parks are closed at dusk, and “No Trespassing” signs will be placed accordingly
We need every resident to do their part in keeping our community safe. Please call LCSO at 703-777-1021 if you see any unusual or suspicious activity, regardless of how petty you think the incident is and regardless of the time of day or night.
