Arpan Dance Academy
Kathak, Indian Folk and Modern Dance
Kathak is a traditional Indian classical dance form where students learn the basic principles that embody the grace, posture, mind, and spirit of the dance in a traditional ambiance. This dance form is very similar to tap, flamenco and includes ballet movements. Students learn pure dance techniques, which include movement, proper posture, stretching, basic footwork, spins, rhythmic patterns, timing and the language of the dance syllable and are eligible to earn an international degree in dance (Pracheen Kala Kendra), affiliated by University Grant Commission, India. Students will also have the opportunity to perform in local events.

Casting call for ALL KINDS OF KIDS! Whether your child is outgoing or shy, Drama Kids is perfect for them. This effective drama program embraces both extroverted and introverted kids and allows them to come together to share creative ideas. It will nurture both the leader and listener in your child, and they will develop skills way beyond the stage of general communication which will include focus, creativity, voice development, improvisation and movement. Plus, they will have an amazing, fun time and get to meet new friends! You can join at any time. Girls on the Run’s mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. - Youth development program for girls grades 3-6
- Teams of 8-20 girls
- 10-week curriculum teaches girls to be strong, healthy and confident
- Discuss topics like positive thinking, standing up to peer pressure, positive body image, and healthy relationships
- Celebratory 5K run to end the season. Open to friends and family!

Youth Group Tennis Programs (8 Week Sessions)
Whether children are beginners, intermediate, or advanced players, Luis Rosado Tennis Academy programs will improve their game and help them get more enjoyment from tennis.
- These tennis programs focus on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players.
- Instructors break down the fundamental skills of tennis through easily understood games and exercises to help improve athletes' overall coordination and technique.
- Players learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys, and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way.
- In addition to developing a love for tennis, athletes will learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis such an exciting game to play.

Community Center, Upper Level
Join us for weekly music and movement classes at the Community Center on Thursdays!
Enjoy time together playing instruments, singing songs, working on motor skills and meeting new friends! This program introduces new music in class and provides each family with a free CD or download with your class registration so all in the family can sing, play, and dance at home. During the "Preschooler class" children are with the teacher for the first 40 minutes, and with parents/caregivers for the last 5 minutes for "Sharing Time." Other classes are parent and child for the entire class. All classes taught by Early Childhood Music Educator, Kathy Preisinger.

Silver Knights Tournament Training
Community Center, Lower Level
Tournament Training classes are a fantastic way to improve your child’s chess while having fun. Each week, the students will play a rated tournament game and analyze that game with our high-rated coaches. These advanced classes are a great next next step for the top students in our general clubs to get into tournaments, and also a great way for tournament players to get a lot better.
