COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Properly Securing your Trash and Recyclables - Gusting winds this summer have led to an increase in litter. Please make sure that your trash and recyclables are secure in their prospective bins to keep them from blowing down the street. BCA continues to proactively monitor and inspect for proper placement of trash and recycling bins with the goal of reducing the amount of litter that ends up around the community. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Community Standards team at communitystandards@brambleton.org or 703-542-6263.

Compost Bins - Loudoun County Master Gardeners recommend using the trimmings from end-of-season perennials and vegetables along with the impending leaf drop as the perfect ingredients for composting. Brambleton residents are encouraged to compost when possible. Additional information on the Design Guidelines for compost bins can be found on our website.

Political Signage - It has been noted that several properties have election signage placed on the property. The Design Guidelines for Temporary Signage within the community state that two political signs, no larger than 2’ x 2’, may be posted on a residential lot. Signs may be posted up to 30 days prior to a pending election and must be removed no later than five days after the election. Additional information on all temporary signage guidelines can be found here.
