Loudoun County Electronics Recycling Event - Loudoun County will host an electronics recycling event tomorrow, May 20 from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Leesburg Park and Ride (19730 Sycolin Rd). Click here for a list of accepted items and more details. Fees will be charged for televisions/monitors and hard drive destruction services (credit card payment only).

HomeWiseDocs: New Rates Effective 6/30/23 - HomeWiseDocs management fees for Resale Disclosure Packages and order updates will increase on Monday, June 30. The new rates can be viewed here. An updated fee schedule will also be released on 6/30/23. Weed Control & Fertilizer Application - The Association’s grounds maintenance contractor is currently performing applications of weed control and balanced fertilizer. It will take approximately one more week to treat the entire community. Weather can impact this schedule. Please contact operations@brambleton.org if you have questions, need more information, or would like to opt out of the service (townhome grounds maintenance program only).
Brambleton Developer Rezoning - The Brambleton Developer has provided updates on current rezoning initiatives for four Brambleton parcels. View their rezoning document and video for more information. The Developer has also scheduled five Open House Information Sessions to be held at their Bram Quarter office (23710 Schooler Plaza, Suite 150). The first session will be held on Tuesday, May 23 from 5 to 7 PM. Questions for these sessions should be submitted in advance to info@brambleton.com.

LRTA Summer Camps - Registration is open here for Luis Rosado Tennis Academy’s Brambleton Summer Camps. Two-hour camps are offered for ages 5-6, and four-hour camps are offered for ages 7+. Daily drop-ins are also available. Visit their website for more information.
COMMUNITY STANDARDS
Reminder: Time to Mow! - BCA reminds residents to review the Property Maintenance Standards which include the requirement that all turf areas on a lot must be kept neatly mowed, trimmed, and edged to a consistent height. Turf may not be permitted to exceed six inches in height at any time. If you are going out of town for longer than a week, please arrange for lawn service while you are away. Turf areas are to be kept as weed-free as possible. At no time shall weed cover exceed more than 25% of the total turf area. Proactive inspections for compliance with these standards are ongoing throughout the community. Please contact the Community Standards department with any questions.
Vegetable Gardens - Vegetable gardens must be located in the rear of the home. Gardens exceeding 50 square feet in area must have prior approval from the Covenants Committee. Plants are to be contained within garden borders, and borders are not to exceed 24 inches in height. Raw building materials and cinderblocks are not approved border materials. A “rabbit fence” or similar fence may be erected to provide for pest control but must not exceed three feet in height. Vegetable gardens must be maintained in a neat manner, all plant debris must be removed, and the soil must be turned at the end of the growing season. Crafter's Choice Book Club - This crafting book club will meet at the Brambleton Library on Monday, June 5 at 6:30 PM. Read a book based on this month's theme, "Strikes a Chord", then put together a themed craft and talk about the book you chose. More details can be found here.
COUNTY CORNER
Loudoun County Elections: New Districts, Precinct and Polling Changes - Loudoun County has mailed information to all registered voters to provide them with current precinct and polling place details. New election districts were adopted by the Board of Supervisors as part of the redistricting process that followed the 2020 census. The redrawn districts will be used in the Democratic primary election on Tuesday, June 20 and the general election on Tuesday, November 7. Click here for more information.
