BCA Adopts 2023-2027 Strategic Plan
We are pleased to announce that the BCA Board of Directors adopted its 2023-2027 Strategic Plan at their meeting on May 3, 2023. For the past year, BCA has worked with Cate Fulkerson, principal of Points North Strategies, to revise and update all components of its plan. The process included the establishment of a Strategic Planning Committee (SPC), a Stakeholders Assessment, a Community Survey, several work sessions, and numerous meetings. Components of the adopted Strategic Plan include the Association’s Vision, Mission, Values, and Focus Areas with Strategic Goals and Objectives.
A strategic plan is a document that outlines the long-term goals, objectives, and strategies that an organization will pursue to achieve its mission. The Association’s adoption of the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan provides a clear direction and focus for the organization, helps to ensure that resources are used effectively, and builds trust and engagement among Brambleton residents and the community.
2023-2027 BCA Strategic Plan Elements
Vision: A visionary community valuing excellence and offering inclusive and connected lifestyles.
Mission: To engage, support, and serve the Brambleton community through professional stewardship and innovative practices.
Values: Integrity, Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Service.
Focus Areas with Strategic Goals - Governance & Management: Ensure the continual improvement of governance and management practices.
- Finance & Capital Planning: Ensure financial stability and fiscal responsibility through capital planning, transparency, and accountability.
- Maintenance & Upkeep: Maintain community standards through responsible stewardship to preserve aesthetics and property values.
- Communication & Engagement: Promote connections between neighbors and the Association to build community.
- Safety: Develop and promote strategies for community safety.
- Community Services: Maintain and enhance community services that improve the quality of life for residents.
Objectives: Numerous objectives have been established in the plan that works towards the Vision, Mission, Values, and Focus Areas.

- Thank you to the 46 stakeholders who completed the Stakeholders Assessment and the 1,076 residents who completed the Community Survey.

It is now time to take the Strategic Plan and put it into action. Staff will work to establish a Strategic Plan page on our website (www.brambletonhoa.com), develop objective action plans, and continue efforts to complete tasks, projects, and goals that serve the community.
