Happy New Year, Brambleton! The BCA Board of Directors and staff would like to share additional information about our attempt to slow down the Loudoun County Airport Impact Overlay District (AIOD) approval process in order to understand the true impacts of the proposed changes. Our efforts over the holidays involved numerous meetings and discussions with County Supervisors, consultants, and counsel. We feel that progress has been made to get the attention of the County, and we continue to ask them to slow the approval process down to allow for input from stakeholders, understand and study true impacts, reduce impacts to existing homeowners, and ultimately hold an FAA Roundtable.

BCA has created an AIOD Impacts Presentation that outlines our goals, concerns, and requests for the AIOD update process. BCA also sent a letter to the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors reflecting these positions. Please take ten minutes to review these documents and understand the AIOD proposal’s impacts. Please also consider signing the Loudoun Aircraft Noise Mitigation Committee (LANMC) Petition. These documents can also be found in the Related Links section below.
