BCA Update: New Design Review Application Deadline
The volume of Design Review Applications submitted each month to the BCA Community Standards department can range from 50 applications to over 120. Typically, two-thirds of these applications are received by staff a day or two before the submission deadline, and many require additional information to be considered complete. This high influx of applications challenges staff’s ability to support each owner and present their completed application to the Covenants Committee for review.
To improve the process and better serve all owners, the application submission deadline has been moved to 9 AM on the Monday a week prior to the scheduled Covenants Committee
meeting. This change will give staff additional time to thoroughly prepare applications for the Committee’s review and decision.
The Design Review Application submittal deadlines for the next few meetings are as follows:
- Monday, November 7 at 9 AM
- Monday, December 5 at 9 AM
- Tuesday, January 3 at 9 AM (due to New Year holiday)
- Monday, February 6 at 9 AM
Design Review Applications can be submitted to
designreview@brambleton.org. Any application that is incomplete or submitted past the deadline will be reviewed at the next scheduled Covenants Committee meeting.
