Republic Services Update:
Yard Waste Collection Change Effective 4/1/21
Due to a regulatory change regarding yard waste collection
, Republic Services will no longer recycle any yard waste contained in plastic bags, clear or otherwise,
effective April 1, 2021. This policy will be in effect in Brambleton starting on
Tuesday, April 6. There will be no exceptions to this policy. Yard waste consisting of grass clippings and leaves must be placed in dedicated and identified containers or in paper “yard waste” bags for collection. Yard waste decals for dedicated containers are available at the BCA Management Office.
Please note that yard waste collection in Brambleton occurs on Tuesdays. Brush and limbs must be cut into 4-foot lengths and bundled (arm-full size) with rope or twine and should not exceed 50 lbs. Tree limbs larger than 6 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length will
not be collected. Concrete, bricks, blocks, rocks, mulch, sod, and dirt will also
not be collected.
